Question 1

Explanation

A highly available Cisco SD-WAN network contains three or more vManage NMSs in each domain (cluster). Each vManage instance or device in a cluster can manage approximately 2000 devices, so a cluster of three vManage devices can manage up to 6000 devices.

Question 2

Explanation

A WAN Edge device within staging state will establish only control connections with the SD-WAN controllers. No data plane connections are established across WAN Edge devices. To fully onboard the device, the device state must be moved from staging to valid. In vManage under Configuration> Certificates > WAN Edge List, select the WAN Edge device(s) and change the state to valid under the Validity column and click Send to Controllers.

Question 3

Explanation

Display all available vEdge routers in the overlay network.

Q4: Option A seems to be the correct answer. Reason being that when you try to add a template in vManage it lists all the supported devices. I could only find all the options listed in option “A” to be there. So for me it is A.

    Question 2:
The answer should be “D. Send the list to controllers”

After we upload the WAN Edge list, the devices are turned into a “valid” state automatically, we can’t put them manually on that “valid” state… at least from what I know and from what I’ve done so far.
In case we want to release a device, we have to change that “valid” state to another state.
If anybody had done that process before in another way, please comment on this post.

Q2: shouldn’t it be “Send the list to controllers”

Correct me if i am wrong

@iwanttobeccie After uploading the WAN Edge list to vManage, you would go to Configuration > Certificates to set the validity of the device certificate (Invalid, Staging, Valid) and then click Send to Controllers. Depending on whether you click a checkbox during the upload process will either set the device certificate to Valid or Invalid.

You could click Send to Controllers immediately after uploading the WAN Edge list, but depending on what you want to do with the device(s) you uploaded, you may want to validate the certificate first.

    Hope this helps!
